Auntie Leah's visit was simply sublime!
Eventhough we missed doing the Fox Run on Saturday morning, we made a day of hanging by Lake Michigan. First the girls played at the South Shore Park playground (home of the wild and crazy spinning seats). Then out for breakfast at The Pancake House (chocolate chip pancakes all around). And lastly, exploring around Lake Park (have you seen the new waterfall?). It was the perfect way to finish out our week with Auntie Leah.
Sunday we drove to Chicago to meet up with college friends. After lunch at David and Davina's new place in Bucktown we headed to the Lincoln Park Zoo. It was Mallory's first zoo trip, so a photo at the entrance was in order. Jo was amazed by the sights and sounds of "people from all over the world" who were there.
