Mondays have been our crazy days for the past few months.
Both Jo & Cokes are in school all day, so we send them on the bus with lunches and drinks in their backpacks, and also try to remember to pack school library books and a show & share item.
When they got home from school there was a minuscule window for snacks, changing out of their uniforms and doing homework before it was off to tennis for Jo and ballet for Cokes.
When the weather was nice, Mallory and I would hang out at a park or bike around while the older two had their activities. Once it got cold and dark we went to the library to kill time.
Tennis ended a few weeks back, but this past Monday was Coryn's last ballet class. For the last 10 minutes the parents were invited to watch their daughters dance. First they warmed up with some stretches. As I watched Coryn touch her nose to the floor with her legs straddled, it became apparent that she has Matt's super-flexibility.
Then they pretended to be a jack-in-the-box, squatting and counting...
- un, deux, trois -
and jumped!
They ended the show with a little dance to Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.
Jo was in charge of the video camera, so stay tuned...
