Miss Mallory is TWO!

Mallory turned two on Friday, but she enjoyed a birthday week of mini-celebrations. Cards, gifts and birthday messages trickled in - signs of love from family near and far. Monday night Little Gram and Pop Pop TG had us over for freshly caught bluegill dinner & cookies. Thursday night Grammy BB and Pop Pop TM came to our house for french toast, fruit, carrot cupcakes and ice cream. And on Mallory's actual birthday, Jo and Cokes insisted on buying singing birthday cards. We ate pizza and more carrot cupcakes before heading over to school for Family Game Night.

Mallory is Little Miss Independent. She wants to dress herself, put her dirty dishes in the sink, do "homework," wash her hands by herself, brush her teeth by herself, and use her step stool to reach snacks in the pantry. She is also good at negotiating watching "just a little bit" of Elmo. She still craves attention from mom and dad and big sisters. She loves reading books and taking care of her baby doll. She loves to dance and play dress up. She loves making silly faces and getting the rest of us to crack up at her antics. She says, "Aw, sooo cute!" whenever she sees a baby or small animal.

Happy 2nd Birthday Mallory Joan!
We love you SO much!
XOXOXO,
Mom & Dad
