Miss Mallory turned 4 years old today. Big sister Jo made sure we celebrated at the proper time, 7:01pm to be exact. But in truth its been a weekend of birthday celebrations - made complete with heaps of Happy Birthday singing from her schoolmates, friends and family.
Yesterday morning Mallory and Mom went to the grocery store to pick out her Birthday Week treats: strawberries, peaches, and Star Wars Go-Gurt. Then we met up with Grammy at Miss Katie's Diner for lunch before going to see Ivy & Bean The Musical at MU. After the show, all were invited on stage to meet the characters and then backstage for an ice cream social.
This morning Mallory asked for waffles and bacon for breakfast. After mass we picked up hot ham (per Mallory's request) for her birthday meal with Grandparents. And tonight Dad made his signature fudge for Mallory to share with her classmates for Star of the Week.
