Our family had lots of fun during intake and we are very excited to announce that our family will be moving to L’Asile, Haiti on February 10th, 2019! We are still learning about Haiti but we know much after reading countless books. Haiti is the first country to be founded by a successful slave revolt and its current population is 11 million. The official languages are Haitian Creole and French. Port-au-Prince is the capital and the only place where there are any roads and infrastructure. The people in Haiti live off less than a dollar a day. As Catholic missionaries our first job is to spread the Good News, but no one will hear it on an empty stomach and without a roof over their heads. Living in Haiti will be quite a challenge but serving will be even harder, so please consider donating to our family’s mission here. Any donations you give will go directly to our family’s needs and to the poor in L’Asile, Haiti! Thank you for your continued support! Three Cheers for Haiti!
God Bless, The Glafckes
