The Saturday before Memorial Day we packed up Debbie Dodge and headed up to the cabin on Clam Lake. Although the weathermen forecast cool temps and thunderstorms, we lucked out with day after day after day of warm sunshine. Jo and Cokes weren't too happy that I failed to pack shorts for them. We hiked, fished, kayaked. We spotted deer, hummingbirds, and a bald eagle.
