He was living in Atlanta, Georgia while we were getting our family started in Milwaukee, WI.
This first-time uncle didn't want to miss out on seeing his niece grow up.

Little did we know in 2006, all the adventures and encounters the Holy Spirit had in store for our young family.
True to form, most of the early entries of this blog are candid shots of our adorable firstborn.
As our family grew, the number of photos diminished while divine inspiration fueled reflections and stories of our days.
We renamed Josephine's blog, "a vivid glimpse."
Then in 2018, we renamed our family blog, "Laughter Is The Key." We joined Family Missions Company and continued sharing photos and stories of our family, this time as missionaries.
An act of Hope.
Looking back now, this blog reveals the story of our gradual surrender as Jesus gently transformed our hearts. His Divine and faithful Love is undeniable.
Today, Josephine celebrates her 18th birthday.
She is a few weeks away from her own act of Faith: a year of formation and discipleship with Holy Family Mission in Ireland.
